Why not add a touch of magic to your special day?
Magic is increasingly popular at weddings where it can be used to entertain guests while the photographs are being taken, in the bar prior to the wedding breakfast where it can act as the perfect ice breaker where some guests may not know one another, between courses during the wedding breakfast and perhaps afterwards in the bar prior to the evening disco.
A cabaret act can be performed as a main item of evening entertainment.
My style of close up magic goes down well at weddings. I offer a polished act that is very audience participative without causing embarrassment and I perform a special effect for the bride and groom.
Close Up Magic is the ideal choice for a wedding as I can also entertain any children present during the speeches with my exciting children’s show. Sometimes I am employed simply to entertain the children. Naturally an adult presence is required. See “children’s parties.”
Professional Magician Perfoming in Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire, Dorset and other Southern Counties
Table magic (see also close up magic) as the name suggests, involves me performing to people sitting at tables in restaurants, at a formal dinner or at a wedding reception.
I perform between courses, seldom while people are eating and depending on the occasion and the number of tables to go round, usually perform for between 6 and 10 minutes at each table.
For large events e.g. a company dinner, more than one magician may be needed so I work with a colleague to ensure everybody is entertained in the time available. Working in a restaurant is less formal and I will often go back to a table if requested to do so.
Close up magic, often referred to as table magic, is performed right under the noses of small groups of spectators and is very popular at all sorts of events ranging from weddings, parties and dinners to corporate events, product promotions and trade shows. It can be performed almost anywhere, outdoors or inside. Close up magicians are often employed by restaurants to entertain the diners.
Whether moving from table to table between courses, entertaining in the bar or performing throughout your event, I offer an engaging style covering a wide variety of magical effects using cards, coins, rope and everyday objects sometimes borrowed from a spectator, guaranteed to enhance your event.
My number one priority is ensuring you and your guests have a good time whether it’s your wedding, dinner party or at a small informal gathering of friends who want to be entertained with something different.
Sometimes the magic even happens in a spectator’s hands!
